Roisin Dubh is located in Dominick Street on the west side of Galway City. It was originally run by John Mannion and Mark Daly who built it into one of the finest music venues in Galway, where you could hear a variety of different live acts seven nights a week. In 2004 Kevin Healy and Simon Heaslip took over this popular pub and music venue and have built it into one of the finest music venues in Ireland. Most of Irelands favorite bands have performed here such as Andy Irvine, Damien Dempsey, Luka Bloom, Christy Moore, Snow Patrol, Doves and John Paul Jones.
